A New Way to Display your Red Hat Certifications

Red Hat Company, which offers various IT-related certification programs, has now introduced Red Hat Certification Badges to merit it's Red Hat Certified Professionals (RHCP), who have been able to successfully clear performance-based tests of individual competency on live systems. These badges will enable the RHCPs to share their certification over the Internet, social media platforms and other digital means of communication.

Red Hat Certification badges are an added advantage over print logos being issued by the company since long to its certified holders. While these logos would still be available and encouraged for use only in print media, digital badges are being looked at as an innovative way to let the whole world know via social media that you are an RHCP. Each badge would carry a unique URL, which along with the certification ID and other metadata, would be embedded into the image on the badge. This is being done for verification purposes to ensure that the badge is issued to a genuine RHCP.
How to get your Red Hat Certification Badge?
  • These badges would be issued to those who have completed their certification programs in at least one of the following courses:
    Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
  • Red Hat Certified JBoss Developer (RHCJD)
  • Red Hat Certified JBoss Administrator (RHCJA)
  • Red Hat Certified Virtualization Administrator (RHCVA)
  • Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA)
In order to earn any one of the above certifications, you can enroll yourself for Red Hat training in Pune. The city has a large number of institutions offer certification courses in IT to interested candidates. Upon successful completion of your training program, you are entitled to a Red Hat Certification Badge.
How to access your Red Hat Certification Badge?
As mentioned earlier, the company is following strict procedures to ensure that the badges are awarded to genuine certified holders only and anyone other than an RHCP is not able to misuse the credentials to their favour. As such, the RHCP is required to create a login id on redhat.com, which would be mapped to their certification ID. Upon successful login, you will be able to access your unique Red Hat Certification Badge(s) in case you’ve cleared more than one certification programs.
